Our annual golf outing was on November 03, 2011. This year were blessed with a day that started out cold but ended up being calm and sunny. We had a great group of golfers, sponsors and volunteers.
We raised over $ 9200 for scholarships to give away next year!! Thanks to all our sponsors, golfers and volunteers! We tried a new event at the start called the Mega Putt and this was well received. It was fun watching 80 golf balls converge on one hole. The IPAD raffle and Cowboys Tickets were won by the same person, Johnny Cisneros. We also thank our dedicated committee members who without their time we could not have this event: Marty Koss, Tammy Marbach, Anthony Wilke, Bert Casey, Kay Sanders, Andy Lobmeyer and Scott McCormick.
Special thanks to Ft. Sam Houston Golf Course for having us again for our 13th event. Thanks to Pro-Shots Photography for the great photos. My apologies go out to Twang for not bringing the beer salts. We will have some at our Christmas party.
See team results below and a link to photos of the wonderful day. Hope you can make it out next year on Thursday, Nov. 1st or 8th, 2012. We will get an extra hour of light since daylight on Nov 1st, but is right after halloween. Let us know which day you prefer.
See Photo links to Picasa for event photos: if the link does not work just Google / images “Alamo IFT golf” and we should pop up.
