Quality and Food Safety Systems Analyst in
Summary:
· Responsible for managing the various Quality System and Food Safety programs document management systems including SharePoint based system, XSpec, and SAP. Interfaces with other relevant departments to insure they have necessary and accurate data. Also responsible for various other duties as described below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works with QA Director, Food Safety Director, and QA Managers to develop and maintain all QA policies and procedures in SharePoint document management system. Insures that any updates/modifications to policies are fully communicated to the QA community and any other relevant departments.
· Insures that the most recent company food safety audit results are posted in SharePoint to allow sales & marketing access as needed.
· Responsible for insuring that customer specification data and raw material specification data are entered and correct as required in iCix, Xspec, and SAP.
· Uploads data into customer specific proprietary quality systems as necessary.
· Assist with Co-packer management to insure that all required documents are posted in iCix system and are up to date.
· Develop and analyze QA and Food Safety data as required for reports, meetings, problem solving.
· Assist QA Director and Food Safety Director on development of relevant CER’s.
· Assists QA and Food Safety Director to successfully execute annual plans and longer terms strategies.
·
Maintenance of raw material and finished goods
specifications.
Education/Certifications: B.S. Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or any other Life Sciences degree.
Experience:
·
Prefer QA or Food Safety experience in a
manufacturing environment.
